On 4th February, the Greendot family did something special for the old folks at Moral Seniors Activity Centre. About 60 of us took sometime off to visit the centre and distribute some daily necessities to old folks living in the rental flats nearby.
The families living in the flats thanked us profusely when we delivered the necessities to them and one of them even kissed one of our young staff on her cheek as a gesture of appreciation. Our hearts were filled with immense happiness and gratitude. This simple action of giving made us realise that true happiness comes not when we receive but when we are able to give and see the smiles of their faces.
Kindness is one the greatest gift that you can give to someone. If someone is in need, lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return, or even a thank you. True kindness lies within the act of giving without any expectation of any return.
